A) Remove carburetor.
b) Disconnect the intake manifold preheater electrical cable.
V) Drain the fluid from the engine cooling system and disconnect the flexible fluid pipes from the manifold.
2. Disconnect the low pressure hoses of the manifold, if any (pic. 3.48).
Pic. 3.48. Connection of low pressure pipes - 2E2
1 - idle speed control valve under load for engines with automatic transmission; 2 return valve; 3 to the air conditioner; 4 - to the fuel consumption meter; 5 - to servo; 6 - gear enable indicator; 7 - temperature sensor in the air filter; B - temperature controller; 9 - air filter housing; 10 - ignition timing reduced pressure regulator. Connection colors, a - black, b - green, c - normal, d - brown, e - yellow, f - blue, g - pink, h - white.
d) Detach the locking lever (if available) between the base of the manifold and the main crankcase, or between the manifolds.
e) Loosen the bolts and nuts securing the manifold, paying attention to their placement, and carefully detach the manifold from the cylinder head.
e) Remove the manifold gasket and clean the mating surfaces on the manifold and engine head.
and) The collector is installed in the reverse order. Put on a new manifold gasket and tighten the fixing bolts and nuts with a certain moment.
3) Install carburetor.
2. Exhaust manifold, removal:
A) Unscrew the fixing nuts and remove the protective plate from the exhaust manifold.
b) In car models with engines 1.1 and 1.3, unscrew the connections from the manifold.
V) In car models with 1.6 and 1.8 engines, follow the description of this manual in part 4 on the exhaust system.
G) Loosen and remove the remaining manifold mounting bolts and nuts, then carefully detach the manifold from the cylinder head. Remove the gasket.
d) Clean the contact surfaces of the manifold and head, as well as the lip joint of the exhaust pipe.
e) The installation of the exhaust manifold occurs in sequence. reverse withdrawal. Put on a new manifold gasket and evenly tighten the fixing bolts and nuts with a certain moment.
e) Before connecting the exhaust pipe to the manifold, it is necessary to lubricate the collar of the connection with a small amount of paste for connecting the exhaust system (exhaust gas), this paste will provide a good seal to the joint.
Caution: High fuel consumption and poor vehicle power may not necessarily be caused by a faulty carburetor. First of all, make sure that the starting system is properly adjusted, that the brakes are not jammed, and that the mechanical part of the engine is working. Only after this check can you start working on the carburetor.
