Engine and exhaust system (VW Transporter T4)

The following work must be performed according to the maintenance schedule:

• engine: Checking the Oil Level;
• engine: oil change, check lubrication system for leaks by visual inspection;
• engine: Oil Filter Replacement;
• checking the tightness of the lubrication system by visual inspection;
• cooling and heating system: checking the fluid level. Checking the concentration of antifreeze. Checking the tightness by external inspection and external contamination of the radiator;
• v-belts: checking tension and condition;
• dry air filter: replacing the filter element;
• gasoline Engine: Replacing Spark Plugs;
• diesel engine: draining water from fuel filter or replacing;
• exhaust system: check for damage, check for damage to lambda probe cable (gasoline engines);
• gasoline engine: checking idle speed and CO content;
• diesel engine: checking the tension and condition of the timing belts;
• diesel engine: check idle speed, adjust if necessary.
