The camshafts are driven by the crankshaft via a toothed belt. The exhaust camshaft, along with the valves, also drives the "pump-injector" units, which are located between the four valves of each cylinder.
The camshaft of the intake valves, along with the valve drive, drives a dual pump that supplies fuel to the pump-nozzle units, and also creates a low pressure for the vacuum booster of the brake drive (see illustration 16.0).

19 - bolt. Tightening torque 120 Nm + 90° turn (1/4 turn). The bolt must be replaced after each dismantling. No additional lubrication of the bolt flange or thread is required. The bolt can be turned in several steps
20 - bolt Tightening torque 40 Nm + 90° turn (1/4 turn). The bolt must be replaced after each dismantling

22 - belt pulley on the crankshaft. The pulley can be installed on the shaft in only one position
23 - bolt. Tightening torque 10 Nm + 90° turn (1/4 turn). The bolt must be replaced after each dismantling
