On the instrument panel there is a display that shows the position of the selector.
Warning: Never move the selector to the position while driving "R" or "R". The gearbox can fail - there is a risk of an accident!
P - parking lock
Drive wheels are mechanically blocked.
The selector should be moved to this position only when the car is completely stopped. Before turning on and off the position "R" it is necessary to press the lock button on the selector handle. Before turning off this position with the ignition on, additionally press the brake pedal.
R - reverse
The reverse position should only be engaged when the vehicle is at a complete stop and the engine is idling. Before moving into position "R" from positions "R" or "N" it is necessary to press the brake pedal and press the lock button in the selector handle.
In position "R" when the ignition is on, the reversing lights are on.
N - neutral position (idle position)
When removing the selector from position "N" at speeds up to 5 km/h, as well as when the vehicle is stationary and the ignition is on, press the brake pedal and press the lock button on the selector lever.
D - long forward movement
Four gears shift from low to higher and vice versa automatically depending on the load on the engine and on the speed of movement.
Under certain driving conditions, it is advisable to temporarily use one of the positions below.
3 - position for "hilly" road sections
This position of the selector is recommended when, under certain driving conditions, with the selector in position "D" there is a frequent shift from 3rd to 4th gear and vice versa.
To move the selector to this position, press the lock button in the selector handle. Automatically shifts up and down 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear depending on engine load and speed, 4th gear is locked. This also increases the braking effect of the engine in the event of a fuel cut.
2 - position for mountainous sections of the road
This position is recommended for long climbs and descents.

Selecting this position is recommended when driving on steep hills and descents.
When you turn on this position, you must press the lock button on the selector handle. The car moves only in 1st gear, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears are locked to avoid unnecessary upshifts. This achieves the maximum possible engine braking effect.
Cruise control in position "1" selector cannot be used.
Warning: When manually switching in descending order, you can jump to positions "W", "2" And "1", however, downshifting takes place automatically only when the maximum permissible engine speed is not exceeded after the shift.
