Wipe the surface of the cylinder head and cylinder block clean again before screwing the parts.
Alignment pins are used to precisely center the head seal in the cylinder block. Fit the cylinder head seal onto the pins so that the word «oben» («Up»). A new seal must be used.
Fit the cylinder head and tap it with plastic or rubber milk.
Insert the cylinder head screws and tighten them by hand.
Gradually tighten the cylinder head screws in the order shown. Once again, please note that only a multi-tooth wrench such as a socket wrench may be used to tighten the screws, otherwise the screw heads will be damaged.
Tighten all screws to 40 Nm; tightening sequence is shown in fig.
Tighten all screws to 60 Nm; tightening sequence is shown in fig.
Insert the wrench into the screw in the order shown, pay attention to the location of the wrench and tighten each screw exactly one half turn (or twice a quarter turn).
Mount the toothed belt and adjust the control system.
Details of the casing of the cylinder head and the suction channel (mount after head assembly):
1 - screw, 20 Nm;
2 - suction channel;
3 - screw, 20 Nm;
4 - oil filler plug;
5 - screw, 10 Nm;
6 - channel seal;
7 - casing of the cylinder head;
8 - casing seals.
Put on the large and medium cylinder head casing seal and install the cylinder head casing. Tighten the screws evenly around to a torque of 10 Nm
Mount the suction channel and carry out all work in the reverse order to dismantling. Perform all connections again according to the instructions.
