1 - suction pipe; 2 - clamping belt. 5 - temperature controller; 4 - rubber shock absorber; 5 - temperature sensor bracket; 6 - temperature sensor; 7 - filter insert; 8 - nut securing the body; 9 - washer; 10 - nut; 11 - washer; 12 - bracket; 13 - washer; 14 - nut; 15 - suction pipe of warm air; 16 - remote bushing; 17 - clamping belt; 18 - crankcase air outlet pipe.
1. Remove the retaining clips and dismantle the reduced pressure unit and drive pipe, leaving the reduced pressure pipe connected.
2. Hang the thermometer in the stream of air passing through the drive channel, then start the engine. In the temperature range between -20°C and +20°C, the regulator valve must be opened as far as possible in order to let in hot air near the exhaust manifold. At temperatures above 17-20°C, the valve must close the hot air supply.
3. The throttle valve movement of the regulator can be checked by applying negative pressure to the reduced pressure inlet.
4. With the engine running and the intake air temperature above 17-20°C, disconnect the low pressure flexible hose from the low pressure unit. The regulator valve throttle should open fully within a maximum of 20 seconds.
5. If the regulator assembly does not function normally, it must be replaced along with the temperature sensor (fig 3.3).
6. Install the reduced pressure assembly and air filter drive pipe.
