Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector and connect an ohmmeter to the sensor terminals (fig. 2-129), measure the ambient air temperature with a thermometer and check the resistance with an ohmmeter, which should be within the range:
- 3.5-4.5 kOhm at an air temperature of 10°C,
- 2.25-3.00 kOhm at 20°C,
- 1.00-1.50 kOhm at 40°C,
- 0.55-0.65 kOhm at 60°C,
- 0.275-0.375 kOhm at 80°C.
