Switch off the ignition.
Connect the control pressure gauge hoses to the fuel supply hose and to the fuel line (pic. 2-124). Start the engine at idle and check the regulated fuel pressure on the pressure gauge, which should be equal to 2.5 kgf / cm2.
Disconnect the vacuum hose of the fuel pressure regulator from the intake manifold and check the pressure on the pressure gauge, which should be equal to 3.0 kgf / cm2. Turn off the ignition and after 10 minutes check the residual fuel pressure on the pressure gauge, which should not be lower than 2.0 kgf / cm2.
Disconnect control pressure gauge hoses. Connect fuel and vacuum hoses.
