Checking injection nozzles (VW Passat B4)

Checking the winding resistance. Turn off the ignition. Disconnect the injector connector, connect an ohmmeter to the injector terminals (fig. 2-130) and check the resistance, which should be within 15-20 Ohms.



Checking the supply voltage of the injectors. Turn off the ignition. Disconnect the injector connector, connect the LED tester to the terminals of the cable part of the connector (fig. 2-131) and briefly turn on the starter. The tester LED should flash. If this does not happen, check the wires and connections between the injectors and the controller.
