Electronic ignition systems generate a spark with a voltage of up to 30 kV. In unfavorable conditions, for example, with humidity in the engine chamber, insulation breakdown may occur. When the engine is running, do not touch the ignition wires.
To prevent failure of the electronic ignition system, it is necessary to observe the following rules:
1. Do not remove the ignition wire while the engine is running or during engine starting.
2. Disconnect the ignition system wires only when the ignition is on.
3. Connect and disconnect the strobe lamp and speed meter wires only when the ignition is off
4. Do not connect any anti-interference capacitor or test lamp to terminal 1 (-).
5. When the engine is running, do not connect measuring devices or a strobe lamp supplied with 12 V to terminal 15 of the ignition coil.
6. When performing electric and spot welding, the battery must be completely disconnected.
7. In a towed vehicle, disconnect the plug from the electronic module.
8. For high voltage wires, only rheostats with a resistance of 1 kOhm and spark plug plugs with rheostats with a resistance of 5 kOhm can be used.
9. People with heart disease should not perform any work related to the TSZ system.
