1. Disconnect the battery ground wire.
2. Disconnect the low pressure pipe from the regulator. Disconnect wire 23 from the distributor (figure 4.9)

3. Remove the distributor cap.
4. Remove the bolt securing the ignition distributor.
5. Remove the distributor from the hole in the engine housing.
Installation
6. Remove the plug from the hole in the clutch housing.
7. Set the crankshaft to TDC. The mark on the flywheel must match the mark on the clutch housing.
8. The notch on the pulley must be positioned opposite the arrow on the timing belt cover.
9. Using a screwdriver, install the oil pump shaft journal in the ignition distributor hole parallel to the crankshaft (perpendicular to the direction of travel).
10. In the removed ignition distributor, it is necessary to install the distributor pin so that it points to the first cylinder mark located on the distributor housing (knurling on the body).
11. In this position, install the ignition distributor so that its teeth come into contact with the oil pump shaft. If after installation the finger does not point to the first cylinder mark, it is necessary to turn the distributor housing and only then tighten the bolt.
