During operation, the contacts burn out and must be replaced.
1. Remove the cap of the ignition distributor, pull off the finger, remove the sealing washer.
2. Disconnect the wire of the breaker contacts and unscrew the bolts.
3. Remove the contacts.
4. Assembly takes place in the reverse order.
5. The slider of the moving contact should be lubricated with a small amount of oil. The contact surfaces must be in good contact with each other.
6. Set the gap between the malleus and anvil. The gap should be 0.45 mm at the moment when the slider of the moving contact rests on the highest point of the bulge of one of the cams. For this purpose, it is necessary to turn the ignition distributor shaft to the appropriate angle, and then insert the probe between the contacts.
The inserted probe should not push the contacts apart and advance with minimal resistance.
7. After replacing the contacts, it is necessary to adjust the ignition timing.
