Transistor ignition target with gallotron (TSZ-H) is a non-contact ignition system. Instead of an interrupter in the ignition distributor, a gallotron that does not require protection is installed.
This would also make it possible to dispense with the capacitor.
The gallotron consists of a non-contact magnetic lock and a shutter mounted on the distributor shaft. The gallotron controls the TSZ-H electronic system and thus determines the on and off point of the current flow through the primary winding of the ignition coil. In the same way, the gallotron determines the moment of ignition.
The ignition equipment cuts off the voltage to the coil after approximately 1 second to prevent the ignition system and coil from overheating when the ignition is on and the engine is not running.
TSZ-H equipment does not require protection. The only thing is that every 15,000 km you need to drop a little oil on the felt.
