2. Take out the front buffer.
3. Remove the protection of the arch.
4 Remove the antenna (if available).
5. Remove the rubber shock absorbers of the engine compartment cover.
6. Remove the bolts securing the front connector to the fender to be removed.
7. Loosen the hexagonal and cross-cut screws, see fig. 11.2.
8. A layer of anti-corrosion coating on the chassis quite strongly glues the wing to the body. For this reason, in workshops, air blowing at temperatures above 60°C is used to soften the coating. Without a dryer of sufficient parameters, it is necessary to cut off the anti-corrosion coating with a sharp knife at the points where the wing separates from the body.
9. Shaking the fender to the sides and lifting it with a screwdriver, separate it from the body.
Attention: When using an appropriate dryer, the fender near the front post is heated (after opening the door) by blowing directed at the bent edge of the tin plate of the wing. To protect adjacent plastic parts, a flat nozzle is put on the dryer exhaust. When heating the edge of the wing, it is necessary to simultaneously move it.
Attention: Plastic parts (PCV) you can heat it for a short time and not to a high temperature so that bubbles do not appear and the color does not change.
Installation
1. Clean off the entire surface of the wing to the body.
Attention: Before installing the fender, it is necessary to cover the screwing points to the front post with a zinc primer.
2. Apply new elastic wing sealing tape.
3. On the sealing tape, make holes with a punch in the places where the bolts securing the wing are screwed in.
4. Put on, install and screw the fender.
5. Cover the inner part of the wing and the joints with a layer of anti-corrosion grease for the chassis.
6. Insert the rubber shock absorbers of the engine cover.
7. Install (if necessary) antenna
8. Install the wheel bearing insert.
