Attention: The o-ring of the nipple connector can be damaged if the retaining clip is in the locked position during installation. As a result, leakage occurs. Follow the installation instructions.
Removing

The male connector can be unlocked by pulling the retaining clip (pic. 2.352).
Disconnect the hose/tube without any aids.
Installation
When replacing the O-ring, insert it into the groove of the charge air hose. Pay attention to the fact that the ring is completely seated in the groove.
Lubricate the sealing lips and O-ring with oil.

Move locking bracket to unlock position 1 (pic. 2.353).
Press the charge air hose into the coupling as far as it will go.
Move the retaining clip to lock position 2 and push the hose in again, finally (pic. 2.353).
By pulling out, check that the hose is properly seated and secure in the coupling.

Note: After removing and installing charge air pipes with spring clips, there is a high probability «hose slippage» while driving. For this reason, spring clips are installed, which can then be opened in the event of a malfunction in the corresponding charge air pipe (pic. 2.354).
In case of repair, the spring clip must be broken with a suitable tool and replaced with a new one.

Note: All hose connections must be secured. The boost system must be airtight. Self-locking nuts must be replaced.
Note: Before screwing on the oil supply line, add engine oil to the turbocharger connection nipple.
Note: To ensure lubrication of the turbocharger, after installing the turbocharger, run the engine for approximately 1 minute at idle speed.
