Work is carried out on a cold engine.
Work execution procedure
Loosen the clamp connection between the downpipe and the intermediate muffler.

Install the clamping clamp with a distance of A = 5 mm in front of the marking on the intake pipe and slightly tighten the front connection (fig. 2.372).

Install the intermediate and main mufflers forward into the clamping clamp until the dimension A between the mount/body and the mount/main muffler is 4 mm. indicates the direction of movement (fig. 2.373).
Align the main muffler horizontally.
Tighten the clamp connections in this position.
Tightening torque: M8 – 25 Nm.
Tightening torque: M10 – 40 Nm.
After tightening the clamp, check the distance A and adjust if necessary.
