General Provisions
Volkswagen cars are designed according to the latest achievements in safety technology. In order to ensure its reliability, it is recommended to use only genuine Volkswagen spare parts. They are distinguished by the VW Audi trademark and by the spare part number. These spare parts are guaranteed to be reliable, safe and suitable.
This cannot be said about other products, although in some cases they have a TUV certificate or special permission, and the market is constantly monitored. Therefore, for obvious reasons, Volkswagen cannot assume responsibility for the installation of these products.
Please note: Volkswagen Genuine Parts and Votex Genuine Accessories may differ in installation conditions, tightening torques, etc.

Wheel markings
There are several markings on the wheels. The parameters necessary for the unambiguous identification of the wheel are given in the following example.
Part number: 6E0 601 027 A.
Rim size: 6 J x 15.
6 – dimension indicating the width of the rim profile in inches.
J – shape of the rim flange.
15 – rim diameter in inches.
Offset (ET) in mm: 43.
Hump designation on the rim seat: EH2 Extended Hump.

Humps are necessary to prevent a tire with safety tire properties from coming off the rim seat when deflated. Wheels marked EH2 are only necessary if they are equipped with safety tires
Load of the wheel support with the vehicle's own weight
Note: All bolts of the rubber-metal chassis mounts must be tightened in the position where the suspension is affected by the vehicle's own weight (unloaded state).
Note: All rubber-to-metal bushings have a limited torsional range.
Note: Therefore, before tightening, suspension parts with rubber-metal bushings must be brought to a position corresponding to their position in the driving mode (vehicle tare weight load).
Otherwise, the rubber-metal bushing may be overtightened, which will reduce its service life.
By raising the suspension of the corresponding wheel using an engine and gearbox stand and a sump, this position can be simulated on a lift.
Before raising the suspension of the corresponding wheel, the car must be secured to the lift brackets using tension straps.
Rotate the wheel hub so that one of the wheel bolt holes is at the top.
Attach the support to the wheel hub using a wheel bolt.

Tightening of the corresponding bolts and nuts is permitted only when the distance between the center of the hub and the lower edge of the wheel arch reaches dimension a.
