At each adjustment of the wheel alignment, the wheel alignment of the front and rear axles must be measured.
Otherwise, the neutral position of the toothed rack is not ensured.
Measure using a computer to check wheel alignment.
Note: It is advisable to adjust the wheel alignment angles after a run of 1000–2000 km, since only after that the process of spring settlement is completed.
Note: When carrying out adjustment work, the respective nominal values must be observed as closely as possible.
Wheel Alignment Conditions for Checking
The wheel suspension, wheel bearings, steering and tie rods must be checked for unacceptable play and damage.
The difference in the tread depth of tires on the same axle must not exceed 2 mm.
The fuel tank must be full.
The windshield and headlight washer fluid reservoir must be full.
Make sure that when adjusting, there is no stand and turntable near the stop.
Pay attention to proper installation and adjustment of the meter.
The parameters of the wheel alignment stand and the computer may differ from the initial values over time.
The wheel alignment stand and computer should be checked once a year as part of maintenance and adjusted if necessary.
Preparation for measurement
Lateral runout of the discs must be compensated. Otherwise, the measurement result will be distorted.
Correct adjustment of the positive toe without compensation for the runout of the wheel discs is not possible
Compensate for disc runout
Establish an emphasis of a pedal of a brake.
Using the stop, press the brake pedal.
Nominal values for wheel alignment
These ratings apply to vehicles with any type of engine.
