Warnings about the presence of malfunctions are carried out using light signal indicators, which can be constantly lit or flashing. The operation of the indicator lights is accompanied by text messages on the display; in some cases, this information is accompanied by an audible signal.
Depending on the instrument cluster design, signaling methods may differ.
When the ignition is turned on, the vehicle control system monitors a number of functions and devices. When a fault is detected, the system signals using light indicators, texts on the MFD and sound signals (if provided).
