Oil drain
Remove the protective tray of the engine compartment. Install a container for drained oil under the gearbox. Unscrew the plug of the oil drain and control holes (pic. 4-53). Unscrew the overflow pipe and drain the oil from the gearbox housing. Screw the overflow tube all the way down.

Checking the oil level
Warning. The correct filling of oil and setting its required level directly depends on the temperature of the oil.
The temperature of the oil in the gearbox housing during the check should be in the range of 35-45°C. Powerful consumers of electricity (air conditioning, headlights, heater fan) should be disabled. Park the vehicle on a level, level surface. Start the engine at idle. Unscrew the oil drain plug without unscrewing the overflow tube. With the correct oil level in the gearbox housing, oil should flow out of the oil drain hole drop by drop.
Oil filling
Do not screw in the oil drain plug. unscrew the oil filler cap (pic. 4-54). Insert the tip of the filler into the oil filler tube. Pour oil into the gearbox crankcase until until it starts to flow out of the oil drain and control hole, then screw in the plug of the oil filler tube, check the oil level (screw in the oil drain plug and tighten it to a torque of 1.5 kgf·m).
