Checking the oil level in the differential housing (VW Passat B4)
Remove the speedometer drive shaft and wipe it dry. Install the speedometer drive shaft, then remove it and check the oil level, which should be between the "Min" and "Max" marks (Fig. 4-62). The amount of oil corresponding to the distance between the marks is 0.1 l.
