The gearbox is bolted on and can be released after loosening and unscrewing the gearbox bolts.
The gearbox is slowly separated from the engine, but care is taken that the weight of the gearbox does not affect the drive shaft or the clutch disc. This work should be done by several people.
Before reassembling the gearbox and engine, the clutch release clutch bearing and the clutch shaft engagement are very lightly greased. In company cars "Volkswagen" grease G000100 is used, and it is always necessary to ensure a small amount of this particular grease when lubricating.
When connecting the engine and gearbox flanges, make sure that the matching pins are in the cylinder block flange. Bolts M10 and M12 are tightened to 80 Nm.
