- unscrew the bolts securing the gearbox to the engine;
- with the help of an assistant, separate the engine and gearbox by moving the latter backwards and carefully remove it.
Caution! The primary shaft of the gearbox must not rest on the petals of the diaphragm spring of the clutch pressure plate, so as not to damage them.
Install the gearbox in the reverse order of removal, paying attention to the following:
- check the technical condition of the clutch;
- make sure the clutch release bearing is in good condition;
- check for the presence of centering bushings in the cylinder block;
- clean and lubricate the splines and the journal of the primary shaft of the gearbox with a thin layer of lubricant G 000 100. The amount of lubricant should not exceed the size of a pea;
Caution! Excess grease may get on the friction linings of the clutch driven disk and impair its operation.
- engage one of the forward gears in the gearbox;
- with an assistant, carefully insert the primary shaft into the clutch;
- screw in the mounting bolts, together with the washers, and tighten them, depending on the bolts used, to the following torques:
- M7 10 Nm
- M8 20 Nm
- M10 60 Nm
- M12 80 Nm
