Removal
Disconnect the battery.
Remove the engine cover by pulling it up

Disconnect plug connection 1, open spring clamp 2 using spring clamp pliers and remove vacuum hose 3 (Fig. 7.37).

Unscrew the air filter housing mounting bolt (Fig. 7.38).

Unlock the tabs and remove the casing (Fig. 7.39).

Remove the hose from the air filter housing and take out the hose (Fig. 7.40).
Pull the air cleaner housing up out of its mountings and remove it.

Slide the protective cap in the direction of the arrow from the traction relay (Fig. 7.27).

Unscrew the positive cable 1 and disconnect the plug connection of terminal 50 2 (Fig. 7.28).

Remove the upper starter mounting bolt (Fig. 7.41).

Remove the lower starter mounting bolt (Fig. 7.42).
Remove the starter from the engine compartment by lifting it upward.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account the following.
Tighten the connections to the specified torques.
