Removal
Disconnect the battery.
Open spring clamp 1 using spring clamp pliers and unscrew fastening bolt 2.

Unlock hose 3 and remove it from the air filter housing (Fig. 7.33).
Remove the air filter housing on the right side from the rubber support upwards

Remove the air filter housing from the vehicle (Fig. 7.34).

Slide the protective cap in the direction of the arrow from the traction relay (Fig. 7.27).

Unscrew the positive cable 1 and disconnect the plug connection of terminal 50 2 (Fig. 7.28).

Unscrew the ground wire from the starter mounting bolt (Fig. 7.35).

Unscrew the starter mounting bolt (Fig. 7.31).
Remove the sound insulation.
Remove the mounting nut 1 from the lower starter mounting bolt.

Remove wire holder 2 (Fig. 7.36).
Remove the starter mounting bolt.
Remove the starter from the engine compartment below.

Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account the following.
Tighten the connections to the specified torques.
