Removal
Remove the three-phase generator.
Clamp the generator at the mounting points in a vice.

Use a socket wrench to remove the belt pulley retaining nut from the alternator shaft (Fig. 7.21).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account the following.
Tighten the connections to the specified torques.
