Removal
Remove the three-phase generator.
Clamp the generator at the mounting points in a vice.
Remove the protective cap from the poly V-belt pulley with the freewheel mechanism.
Install the adapter using a 17 mm open-end wrench onto the poly V-belt pulley with the generator freewheel mechanism.

Insert the adapter nozzle M10 1 into the generator shaft (Fig. 7.22).
Loosen the threaded connection by turning the torque wrench with the socket to the right, while holding the open-end wrench in a fixed position.
Hold the freewheel pulley with your hand and turn the generator drive shaft until you can remove the pulley.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account the following.
First, screw the poly V-belt pulley with the freewheel mechanism by hand until it stops on the generator drive shaft.
A torque wrench must be used to install the poly V-belt pulley with a freewheel mechanism as follows:
Unlock the end attachment 1 and remove it from the handle 2.

Turn handle 2 of the torque wrench 180° and reinstall the socket attachment (Fig. 7.23).
Set the torque wrench socket to left-hand rotation.
Insert the adapter nozzle M10 1 into the generator shaft.

Hold the adapter with a 17 mm open-end wrench.

Tighten the poly V-belt pulley with the freewheel mechanism by turning the generator drive shaft to the left using a torque wrench (Fig. 7.24).
Tighten the connections to the specified torques.
