Removing
Dismantle the three-phase generator.
Clamp the generator at the attachment points in a vise.
Remove the protective cap from the V-ribbed belt pulley with the freewheel mechanism.
Install the adapter using a ring wrench 17 on the V-ribbed belt pulley with the generator freewheel mechanism.

Insert the nozzle for the M10 adapter 1 into the generator shaft (pic. 7.22).
Loosen the screw connection by turning the torque wrench with the socket to the right while holding the ring wrench in the fixed position.
Hold the freewheel pulley with your hand and rotate the alternator drive shaft until you can remove the pulley.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, paying attention to the following.
First, screw the poly V-belt pulley with freewheel from hand to stop to the generator drive shaft.
A torque wrench must be used to mount the poly V-belt pulley with freewheel as follows
Unlock end cap 1 and remove it from handle 2.

Turn handle 2 of the torque wrench by 180°and reattach the socket (pic. 7.23).
Set the direction of rotation of the end socket on the torque wrench to the left.
Insert the nozzle for the M10 adapter 1 into the generator shaft.
Hold the adapter with the spanner 17.

Tighten the poly V-belt pulley with freewheel by turning the alternator drive shaft to the left with a torque wrench (pic. 7.24).
Tighten the connections to the prescribed tightening torques.
