- second stage - 60 Nm
- third stage - 180° (half turn)
Connecting rod bearing cap screws - 30 Nm + 90°
Main bearing caps - 30 Nm + 180° (half turn)
Flywheel screws - 70 Nm + 90° (quarter turn)
Clutch - 20 Nm
Water pump to engine - 20 Nm
Belt pulley to water pump - 25 Nm
I lower the chain tensioner to the cylinder block - 10 Nm
Intermediate shaft flange to engine - 10 Nm
Double row sprocket to intermediate shaft - 100 Nm
Chain sprockets to camshafts - 100 Nm
swivel bolts (4) - 25 Nm
Double row chain tensioner in cylinder head - 25 Nm
Lower chain guide to cylinder block - 25 Nm
Upper chain guide to cylinder block - 25 Nm

Camshaft bearing caps - 20 Nm
Camshaft covers to cylinder head, front screws - 10 Nm

Heat shield to exhaust duct - 25 Nm
Drive belt tensioner to cylinder block - 25 Nm
Fuel distributor pipe to suction port - 10 Nm
Suction port top to bottom - 25 Nm
Suction channel bracket - 25 Nm
Cylinder head cover to cylinder head - 10 Nm
Oil drain plug - 50 Nm
"Call probes" for correcting the ignition timing to the cylinder block - 25 Nm
Threaded plug for descending to the oil filter, lower - 20 Nm
Oil cooler cap - 25 Nm
Oil temperature sensor - 10 Nm

Oil pump drive cover - 10 Nm
Vibration damper screw - 450 Nm

- screw inserted from above - 10 Nm
- screw inserted from below - 25 Nm
Safety valve plug in the oil pump - 40 Nm
Oil sump to block - 20 Nm
Front flange with O-ring to cylinder block - 10 Nm
Spark plugs - 20 Nm
Tachometer to cylinder block - 10 Nm
Ring gear for tachometer to crankshaft - 10 Nm + 90° (quarter turn)
Rear flange with O-ring to cylinder block, screws inserted from below - 25 Nm
Exhaust duct to cylinder head - 25 Nm
Exhaust pipe to channel - 40 Nm
Catalyst to front exhaust - 25 Nm
exhaust connecting clamps - 25 Nm
Lambda probe in the catalyst - 50 Nm
Double tube clamps, catalytic converter connection to front muffler - 40 Nm
Engine mounts:
- Front engine bearing; screw inserted from below - 55 Nm
- Front suspension bracket; screws, 3 inserted from above and horizontally - 60 Nm
- Rear rubber-metal bearing; bolt inserted from above - 60 Nm
- Rear rubber-metal bearing; support bracket to cylinder block - 60 Nm
- Rear rubber-metal bearing to the body - 30 Nm
Rear engine mount - gearboxes:
- Bracket for rubber-metal bearing; screw inserted from above - 60 Nm
- Bracket to engine - 25 Nm
- Rubber-metal bearing to the body - 30 Nm
2L engine
Engine - VR6
Cylinder head screws:
- first stage - 40 Nm
- second stage - 60 Nm
- third stage - Following the tightening sequence and without using a torque wrench, tighten the screws an additional half turn (or twice a quarter turn)
Main bearing caps - 65 Nm
Connecting rod bearing caps - 30 Nm + 90°
Flywheel screws - 100 Nm, lubricate with D6 sealing compound. Screws must be replaced
Clutch screws 25 Nm
Countershaft flywheel - 65 Nm
Camshaft flywheel - 65 Nm
Camshaft bearing caps - 15 Nm
Crankshaft flywheel - 90 Nm + 180° (half turn). You can tighten the screws in several passes. It is important not to forget about tightening and half a turn. Screws must be replaced
Toothed belt protector to cylinder block - 10 Nm
Timing belt tensioner nut - 45 Nm
Belt tensioner bearing to block:
- hexagon socket screw - 30 Nm
- stud - 30 Nm, lubricate with sealing compound D6
Cylinder head cover - 10 Nm
Ignition breaker-distributor base plate - 25 Nm
Oil filter base to engine - 25 Nm
Oil cooler to oil filter - 25 Nm
Oil pressure switch - 25 Nm
Water pump to engine - 20 Nm
Engine mounts - As in the VR6 engine
Protective plate (underside of engine) - 10 Nm
Starter screws - 20 Nm
Exhaust pipe to channel - 30 Nm
Oil bath to cylinder block - 20 Nm
Rear flange with O-ring to engine - 10 Nm
Countershaft flange - 25 Nm
Oil pump:
- long screws - 20 Nm
- short screws - 10 Nm
Oil drain plug - 30 Nm
Thermostat housing - 10 Nm
Water pump pulley - 20 Nm
