1. Disconnect the wire clamp to the battery ground.
2. Remove the air filter assembly.
3. Disconnect the gas cable from the carburetor. In vehicle models where the power systems include a solenoid shut-off valve, side air valve, part-throttle port heater, auto-suction control assembly, disconnect the electrical wires from this equipment.
4. Drain half of the liquid from the engine cooling system, then disconnect the elastic pipes from the auto suction unit.
5. Disconnect the fuel pipes, supply and return, from the carburetor or fuel sump (depending on connection) and plug or pinch the ends of these pipes to prevent fuel from escaping.
It is necessary to mark the connection points of individual nozzles in order to avoid mistakes during assembly.
6. Disconnect the low-pressure flexible pipes, having previously marked the places of their connection.
7. Loosen diametrical bolts 1, 2 and 3 or fastening nuts (depending on the design solution) and a carburetor from the drive manifold.
8. To disconnect the intermediate collar from the manifold, it is necessary to unscrew the four nuts under the manifold and lift the collar
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly. Make sure the running surfaces on the drive manifold, middle collar and carburetor are clean. New gaskets should be installed.
10. Add fluid to the engine cooling system, start the engine and check for fuel and coolant leaks. Adjust the carburetor if necessary.
