Removing
With the ignition off, disconnect the ground wire from the battery.
Remove the air filter housing assembly if necessary.

Remove lock washer 1 for shift cable from shift lever A (pic. 3.23).
Remove the lock washer 2 for the selector cable from the intermediate lever B.
Pull the selector cable and shift cable from the trunnions (pic. 3.23).
Pull the lock washer 3 off the intermediate lever B and remove the lever.
Remove gearshift lever A by unscrewing nut 4 (pic. 3.23).
Remove the cable support from the gearbox.
Then fasten the shift cable and the selector cable at the top.

Remove the bracket B from the gearbox and pull it off the tubing A (pic. 3.24).
Then remove box support A.
Place a lint-free cloth under the slave cylinder.
Pull the clamp for the pipe-hose line out of the working cylinder as far as it will go.

Remove clutch slave cylinder B (pic. 3.25).
Note: Do not depress the clutch pedal.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, while observing the following.
Install the slave cylinder and tighten the screws B to the required tightening torque (pic. 3.25).
Insert the pipe-hose line all the way into the working cylinder.
Press as far as it will go on the clamp for fastening the pipe-hose line.
Then attach the gearbox supports with new screws A.
After installing the slave cylinder, bleed the air from the clutch assembly.
