Installation of the clutch slave cylinder is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account the following:
  • before installation, wipe the release bearing with a rag, but do not wash it in gasoline;
  • tighten the three clutch slave cylinder mounting bolts to 11 Nm;
  • after installing the gearbox, check the operation of the clutch. In this case, pay attention first of all to the appearance of a scratching sound when engaging gears. It is best heard when engaging reverse gear. It may be caused by an unadjusted clutch release drive;
  • if necessary, adjust the clutch release drive and test drive the vehicle with all gearshift options.
