Note: Pre-filling of the system is not required.
Remove the air cleaner housing assembly if it interferes with access to the breather (fig. below).
Connect the device for filling and bleeding the brake system.
Use a bleed hose to bleed if necessary (length 670 mm).
In this case, connect the bleeding hose to the receiving vessel of the device for bleeding the brake system.

Place the bleed hose on the breather (Fig. 3.5).
Apply 2 bar pressure to the system.
Open the air valve.
Allow about 100 cm³ of brake fluid to drain.
Close the air valve.
press the pedal smoothly all the way down 10–15 times, releasing the pedal completely each time.
Open the air valve.
Release about 50 cm³ more brake fluid.
Close the air valve.
After completing the bleeding process, press the clutch pedal several times.
Install the air cleaner housing assembly if it was removed.
