Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature. Disconnect the pilot pressure regulator connector. Run the engine at idle and connect the control pressure regulator connector. After 2.5-5.0 minutes, the control pressure should increase to 3.4-3.8 kgf / cm2.
If the control pressure is not within the specified limits, determine the cause in Table 2-26 and repair the problem.
Disconnect the hose from the pilot pressure regulator. In this case, the control pressure must first increase, then decrease to 2.75-3.05 kgf / cm2. If the pilot pressure is not within the specified limits, replace the pilot pressure regulator.
