Turn the engine crankshaft with the starter for 10 s.
Move the air flow meter pressure disk upwards until it stops using a screwdriver (fig. 2-181) or a magnet. In this case, the resistance of the pressure disk to movement should be the same throughout its entire travel. If the upward movement of the pressure disk is difficult, check whether the distribution plunger is jammed. If the plunger is jammed, replace the fuel distributor.

When moving the pressure disc downwards, there should be no resistance. Otherwise, replace the air flow meter.
