
2. Screw the tester adapter into the hole for the pressure sensor in the cylinder head.
3. Connect the brown tester lead to "-".
4. Connect the VAG 1527 diode tester with an additional wire to the "+" of the battery and the pressure sensor.
5. Start the engine and slowly increase the engine speed. At a pressure of 0.15-0.35 bar the light should go out, otherwise replace the sensor. At 2000 rpm and a temperature of 80 'C the pressure should be 2.0 bar.

4. Connect the VAG 1527 LED bulb with the additional VAG 1594 A wire to the battery "+" and the pressure sensor. The bulb should not light.
5. Start the engine, at idle speed at a pressure of 1.2-1.4 bar the lamp should light, otherwise replace the sensor. Gradually increase the engine crankshaft speed. At 2000 rpm and a temperature of 80°C the pressure should be at least 2.0 bar.
