4-cylinder 8-valve engine
- 1 - bearing cap
Note the offset location of the holes for fastening the cover relative to the bearing bed. The diesel engine camshaft has 5 bearings,
- 2 - nut, 20 Nm
- 3 — camshaft
Check the radial clearance with a feeler gauge (workshop work). Wear limit: 0.1 mm. Maximum runout 0.01 mm.
- 4 - segment key
Check the seat for strength.
- 5 — mounting bolt, 80 Nm
- 6 - plate pusher (hydraulic tappet)
Place with the working surface facing down. Before installation, check the axial clearance of the camshaft. Lubricate the working surface of the plate tappet; do not swap the tappets during installation.
- 7 — upper valve spring plate
Designation: beveled edge inside, wide beveled edge outside.
- 8 - outer and inner valve springs
- 9 — oil seal
- 10 — lower valve spring plate
- 11 — valve guide
Check for wear.
- 12 — valves
- 13 — plug
Always replace.
- 14 - check valve
- 15 — oil seal
- 16 — cylinder head
- a — cylinder head height
Minimum height of the cylinder head of a gasoline engine after additional processing: a = 132.6 mm.
