Replacement
1. To replace the toothed belt, the alternator belt and toothed belt cover must be removed.
2. Loosen the mounting bolts and the alternator adjusting bar bolt, rotate the alternator down to the cylinder block and remove the V-belt from the alternator pulleys and crankshaft.
3. Turn out three bolts of fastening of a cover of a gear belt to the back plate located on an end face of the engine, and remove a cover.
4. Turn the crankshaft by the pulley mounting bolt using the appropriate socket or box wrench until the TDC marks on the crankshaft pulley and camshaft sprocket are aligned with the pointers (pic. IN 1).
5. Reduce toothed belt tension by loosening the cooling pump mounting bolts and turning the pump towards the engine.
6. Remove the toothed belt from the camshaft sprocket, then from the cooling pump sprocket and crankshaft.
7. Install a new belt on three sprockets and make sure that the alignment marks are aligned with the pointers.
8. For correct belt tension, press the cooling pump away from the cylinder block (pic. AT 2) and fasten it so that the belt can hardly be twisted 90°with two fingers. Tighten the cooling pump mounting bolts.
9. Reinstall the toothed belt cover. Install the alternator drive belt and tighten it so that its deflection when pressed with a finger between the two pulleys is 13 mm. Tighten the mounting bolts and the alternator adjustment bar.
