Cylinder head (VW Passat B3)

4-cylinder 8-valve engine

• 1 - cork
• 2 - fastening nut, 10 Nm
• 3 - Stiffening bar
• 4 — cylinder head cover
• 5 - oil deflector
• 6 - cylinder head cover sealing gaskets
• 7 — cylinder head bolt

Pay attention to the sequence and the prescribed tightening torque value.

• 8-gear camshaft wheel
• 9 — plug
• 10 — cylinder head
• 11 - lifting eye
• 12 — generator bracket

Adjust the tension of the toothed belt at the toothed rack.

• 13 — bolt, 20 Nm
• 14 — cylinder head gasket

Install dry and on a dry surface. The inscription "oben" (top) must face the cylinder head.
