- Place the III/IV gear synchronizer ring on the gear cone and measure the clearance «A» ring to gear (see fig. 295). Maximum allowable gap value (wear) is 0.5 mm. In the case of installing new parts, this size fluctuates in the range of 1.1-1.7 mm.
- Put three crackers into the hub and install the clip.
- Replacing the synchronizer springs is similar to the output shaft synchronizer (see fig. 296). Their ends must be mutually turned by 120°. Note. not that the groove on the outside of the synchronizer (bottom arrow in fig. 297) located on the gear side of the fourth gear.
