Attention! Incorrect location of the speedometer shaft will cause noise in the speedometer area, side-to-side oscillation of the speedometer needle, and damage to the shaft.
Removing
1. Put your hand under the instrument panel. Disconnect the plastic clutch of the speedometer roller on the instrument panel (squeeze side ribs) and remove the roller from the instrument panel.
2. unscrew the clutch (1) speedometer roller in the hood, near the brake fluid expansion tank and remove the roller together with the rubber seal (2) from the transverse wall.
3. The speedometer roller is divided into two parts. Unscrew the lower part of the roller on the gearbox from the drive housing of the right axle shaft to the engine.
4. Notice the location of the speedometer shaft in the hood.
5. Release the speedometer roller in the hood from the clips, if necessary, cut the cable clips.
Installation
1. Insert the speedometer roller towards the passenger compartment, press the rubber seal into the hole.
2. Insert the roller into the speedometer and lock.
Attention! The roller must be locked. Check the reliability of the fastening of the roller by pulling on it.
3. Screw together the parts of the roller in the hood. Check the correct location of the roller in the hood.
4. Screw the roller to the gearbox.
