Raise the vehicle. From the bottom of the car turn away bolts of a clip 5 of a rod of a choice of transfers and move aside a clip.
In the passenger compartment, lift the cover 3 of the gear selector rod and unscrew the now visible rod nuts. Pull up the rod 4 and the lever rod 2.
When assembling, insert the lever into the body and insert the stem into the guide.
Insert the clamp, but do not tighten it. Lubricate both lever pivots and reinstall the lever. Loosen the two front bracket nuts to adjust the mechanism (pic. 311), as well as the nuts and bolts of the clamp. Move the bracket so that the distance between the plate and the lever is 6 mm (size «A» in fig. 311). Tighten the bracket nuts as well as the clamp and check the size «A». If it has decreased to 5 mm (but no less), then re-adjustment is not required.
