the automatic transmission is connected to the crankshaft by means of a drive disk secured with six bolts (figure 212). The reinforcement ring has a chamfer on the outer edge, which should face the drive disk. When installing the disk, the bolts should be lubricated with a locking compound for threaded connections and tightened to a torque of 75 Nm. It should be remembered that an adjusting lining must be installed between the drive disk and the crankshaft flange.



Before installing the bolts on the fixing compound, it is necessary to rotate the disk and measure the protrusion value "a" with a depth gauge (figure 213) surface of the disk. The depth gauge foot must be placed against the surface of the disk to which the torque converter is attached, and the distance to the cylinder block must be measured. This distance should be 30.5-32.1 mm. Otherwise, an adjusting washer must be used.
