The gas cable drive is adjusted in the idle position (engine warm: throttle closed, choke fully open) in the following way:
Loosen nut -1-.
Remove spring -2-.
Pull the throttle cable in the direction of the arrow (zero gas position).
By turning the end switch -3- with a screwdriver, adjust it so that the surface of the end switch rests on the pin of the drive axle.
Install spring -2-. Start the engine and make sure it runs at the desired idle speed. Adjust if necessary by turning the limit switch -3-.
Lock limit switch with nut -1-.
Press the gas pedal all the way. The gearbox control lever must rest on the stop in the kickdown position -arrow A-.
Release the gas pedal. The actuating lever of the gearbox must rest on the stop in the zero gas position -arrow B-.
If necessary, adjust the throttle cable adjustment with the clamp bolt.
Adjustment check
Press the gas pedal to full throttle. The actuating lever of the box must be installed on the stop (without kickdown).
Squeeze the gas pedal to the stop, passing the point of full throttle.
The gearbox actuating lever should rest on the stop in the Kickdown position.
