The throttle drive should be adjusted so that when the throttle valve is closed (idling) the actuator lever on the gearbox was on the stop in the zero gas position. Otherwise, switching to higher gears at medium speeds will occur with a delay.

Unscrew nut "1".

Remove spring "2".

Pull the throttle rod in the direction of the arrow (zero throttle position).

Using a screwdriver, adjust the end switch "3" so that the end switch surface fits against the drive axle pin.

Install spring "2". Start the engine and make sure it operates at the specified idle speed. If necessary, adjust by turning limit switch "3".

Lock the end switch with nut "1".

Press the gas pedal all the way down. The gearbox actuator lever should be positioned on the stop in the Kickdown position "arrow A".

If necessary, adjust the throttle cable adjustment with the clamp bolt.

Press the gas pedal to the full throttle point. The gearbox actuator lever should be positioned on the stop (no Kickdown).
