The fuel filter is located under the car on the right side directly behind the fuel tank. The fuel filter is replaced every 30,000 km.
Removal
Raise the rear of the vehicle.
Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.
Clamp the fuel tank fuel hose with a clamp.
Loosen the fuel hose clamps and remove the filter.
Installation
Insert a new fuel filter.
Caution: Observe the direction of fuel flow. The arrow on the fuel filter points to the fuel pump (to the engine).
Tighten the fuel hose clamps. Remove the clamp from the fuel tank fuel hose.
Connect the ground wire to the battery.
