Removal the air filter housing



Unscrew the nuts securing the air filter housing to the carburetor and remove them together with the washers.

Remove the air filter housing.

Installation



Install the air filter housing. Ensure that the sealing ring is seated against the carburetor.

Install and tighten the new air filter housing self-locking nuts.

Connect the engine crankcase ventilation hose to the air filter housing.

Removal the air filter included



Loosen the nuts securing the air filter housing to the carburetor.

Use a screwdriver to loosen the air filter cover clamps and disconnect the gray vacuum hose.

Disconnect the engine crankcase ventilation hose from the air filter housing.

Disconnect both intake manifold hoses from the air cleaner housing.

Disconnect the upper air filter clamp.

Remove the air filter assembly.

Installation



The air filter housing snaps into the lower clips. There should be a rubber ring on each clip on the lower part of the air filter.

Install the air filter housing, let it snap into place and secure with brackets.



Clamp both intake manifold heating hoses together.

Connect the gray vacuum hose to the air cleaner cover.

Install the air cleaner housing with new self-locking nuts on the carburetor. Ensure that the sealing ring fits tightly to the carburetor.

Connect the engine crankcase ventilation hose to the filter housing.
