Removal and installation the turbocharger vacuum block (VW Tiguan 1)

Unlock the vacuum line clamp on the vacuum receiver "arrow" and disconnect it, Raise the engine casing at points "1" and remove the casing by moving it forward in the -direction of the arrow-. Unscrew the heat shield above the turbocharger "arrow". Remove the hose "1" from the pressure pipe and unscrew the fastening bolts "2" for the pressure pipe. Shine the pressure pipe.



Disconnect the "arrow" hose from the aneroid box. Remove the threaded varnish from the fastening nut "2".



Remove the safety bracket "1" and unscrew the fastening nut "2" on the vacuum drive rod. Unscrew the nut from the threaded stud of the vacuum drive.



Unscrew the vacuum drive "arrow" mounting bolts and remove the vacuum drive from the turbocharger.





Installation is carried out in the reverse order, and the following must be observed. After installing the aneroid box, the traction must be adjusted. The tightening torque of the vacuum drive to the turbocharger: 10 Nm. The gaskets, lip seals and self-locking nuts must be replaced. Degrease the hose connection pipes and supercharging system hoses before installation. Use clamps of the appropriate series to secure all hose connections.
