Removal and installation the air filter

Removal

Disconnect the hose from the air filter housing.

Disconnect the brown vacuum hose from the vacuum diaphragm.

Use a screwdriver to pry up the air filter cover clips and disconnect the gray hose.

Remove the 4 air filter clips and the top clip on the cover.

Remove the air filter cover.

Remove the air filter insert.

Wipe the top and bottom of the air filter with a clean cloth.

Installation

Insert the new air filter insert.

Place the air filter cover on and secure with 4 staples.

Secure the air filter with the top clip.

Connect the brown vacuum hose to the vacuum diaphragm.

Connect the gray vacuum hose to the air cleaner cover.

Connect the engine crankcase ventilation hose to the air filter housing.

Removal the air filter housing

Disconnect the engine crankcase ventilation hose from the air filter housing.

Loosen the clamp securing the hose connection to the air filter cover.
