ATTENTION: If mechanical defects are found on the turbocharger, such as a defective impeller, it is not enough to just replace the turbocharger. To avoid the appearance of subsequent defects, carry out the following work.
Check the air filter housing, filter element and intake hoses for dirt.
Check the entire charge air assembly and charge air cooler for foreign objects.
If they are found, clean the entire charge air supply unit and the charge air cooler, if necessary, replace.
NOTE: All hose connections must be secured. The boost system must be airtight. Self-locking nuts must be replaced.
NOTE: Before screwing on the oil supply line, add engine oil to the turbocharger connection fitting.
NOTE: After installing the turbocharger, run the engine for approximately 1 minute at idle speed. Do not rev up abruptly immediately after starting the engine. This ensures that the turbocharger is lubricated. Observe security measures. Follow cleanliness standards.
