Removal
Raise the car.
Release the throttle cable by unscrewing the carburetor clamp screw. On the 2E3 carburetor, give full throttle by hand, disconnect the cable from the mount.
Pull the clamp out of the throttle cable mount. Disconnect the cable from the mount.
Remove the spare wheel. Remove the pedal cover, see Figure 20-402.
Loosen the throttle cable clamp screw on the throttle lever.
Loosen the throttle cable mount on the bottom of the vehicle.
Pull out the gas cable. Installation
Insert the gas cable and secure its mount to the bottom of the car.
Attach the gas cable to the gas lever and install the gas pedal protective strip.
Route the throttle cable to the carburetor and secure it, see Figure 20-402.
