The accelerator cable connects the accelerator pedal to the throttle lever on the carburetor. At the front, the cable is connected to the accelerator pedal lever, and then it passes through a plastic tube to the fan housing. In the fan housing, it passes inside the guide tube. To the throttle lever, the cable is fixed in the bushing with a tip made in the form of a bolt.
Removing
Loosen the screw in the fastening sleeve on the throttle lever, remove the end of the throttle cable at the accelerator pedal and unhook the cable.
Installation
Degrease the cable and check it for bends.
Guide the cable forward along the guide tube.
Rock the car from behind and check if the plastic tube has moved in on both sides.
Push the cable all the way in until it emerges from the fan housing.
Connect the cable from the front to the accelerator pedal lever.
Insert the cable into the throttle lever mounting sleeve and adjust it.
